Assistant professor position in the research and teaching group. Responsibilities include teaching students in the areas of strength of materials and structural mechanics, fundamentals of geology and geotechnics, soil mechanics and fluid mechanics. Actively applying for and securing research grants, conducting scientific research, and publishing research results.

Skills/Qualifications

• ability to use MS Office, Statistica, and tools from the FEM suite (zSoil);
• experience in teaching (minimum 1 year) in the areas of strength of materials, structural mechanics, geotechnics, fundamentals of fluid mechanics;
• experience in teaching (minimum 1 year) in the areas of strength of materials, structural mechanics, geotechnics, fundamentals of fluid mechanics.

Specific Requirements

• knowledge of project management methodology, confirmed by a certificate, e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation;
• pedagogical preparation, documented by a certificate or certificate of completion of a pedagogical seminar;
• experience in the position of assistant engineer or assistant designer in the field of water construction and environmental engineering, including at least 3 months in a company abroad.
