Institute of Chemical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gliwice, Poland invites applicants for a full-time employment as an assistant professor in the field of chemical reactors, catalysis and adsorption. We are looking for a candidate having a PhD degree in chemical engineering, chemical technology or similar disciplines.
The beneficiary will be involved in research related to the development of new adsorption and catalytic systems for the destruction of volatile organic compounds, odors or sulfur compounds, as well as natural gas sweetening processes.
The research will involve about 50 % experimental work and about 50 % data post-processing, development of the new method and preparation of manuscripts.
The successful applicant should have the following skills:
Moreover, candidate must be the author/co-author of at least 4 scientific papers, including at least 2 in a scientific journal publishing peer-reviewed articles, included in the most widely read international scientific journal databases within the 5 years, and a manager/contractor in a national or EU research project or in research for business entities.
The possibility of permanent full time employment after one year.
