We are seeking an Assistant Manager to support our Client Accounting department.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Oversee end to end Client Reporting process – creation and preparation of Financial Statements for Clients.
- Prepare, review, and validate complex financial statements for companies and trusts in line with reporting schedule and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements as per applied accounting standards in various jurisdictions.
- Address detected errors, quality issues, identify long term problems to external vendor responsible for first step of financial statements preparation.
- Prepare and review tailored investment reports (Manually Prepared Reports).
- Liaise daily with other functions within JTC and business partners (Fiduciary Services, Trust Officers, external vendor).
- Prepare and review supporting documentation for internal & external audit purposes.
- Deal with ad-hoc and outstanding queries, resolving complex accounting and reporting.
- Establish and maintain a strong relationship with key internal stakeholders to resolve issues detected in the process.
- Implement process enhancements.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in GL accounting or audit / financial reporting is a must – minimum 3 years.
- Good understanding of GL and data reconciliation process.
- Experience in initiating & running projects in the above fields would be an advantage.
- Experience in preparing & reviewing supporting documentation for internal & external audit purposes.
- Excellent written and oral English.
- Proactiveness & multitasking skills.
- University Degree – preferable in Finance, Accounting, Tax or Economy.
