Qualifications

Research Field: Language sciences » Languages

Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent

• Master’s degree in linguistics or philology, Electronic Information Processing, or information science. Candidates presenting master’s diplomas in other disciplines than philology need to also present a bachelor’s diploma in linguistics;
• experience and output congruent with the research conducted at the Department of Old Polish (grammar, semantics, lexicography, corpus linguistics, editing historical texts, Medieval palaeography);
• plans for individual scientific work fitting the research profile of the Department of Old Polish at IPL PAS;
• at least B2 English or other international languages at a level of proficiency sufficient to conduct scientific discussions.

Specific Requirements

• experience in teamwork, demonstrated by previous participation in grant projects or research teams;
• practical knowledge of the PHP framework CodeIgniter, GitHub, SQL, MS SQL, Python;
• knowledge of Latin;
• organisation work experience (e.g. organising seminars, conferences, participation in student associations or scientific societies).
