Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology announces a competition for the position of ASSISTANT in the following employee groups: research and teaching field of study engineering and technology discipline mechanical engineering in the Division of Fundamentals of Machine Design Institute of Aeronautics and Applied Mechanics at the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, which shall be the primary place of employment as defined by the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science hereinafter referred to as the Law.

1.Candidates are required:

1. to have completed higher education with a master’s degree or equivalent professional title in the field of Mechanical Engineering or a similar area,
2. to have a very good command of Polish and English,
3. scientific profile related to the scientific specialization of the Division of Fundamentals of Machine Design,
4. aptitude for scientific research and documented experience in this field – authorship or co-authorship of scientific articles worth at least 100 points according to the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education,
5. knowledge of the following software: Siemens NX, Ansys,
6. possession of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the design and operation of machines, including numerically controlled machines,
7. ability to operate and program 3D printers using FDM, SLA, SLS, and DMLS technologies,
8. documented experience in the implementation of R&D projects,
9. experience in conducting teaching classes.

2.The person applying for the post should satisfy the requirements set forth in the Law on Higher Education and Science and in § 118-121 of the Warsaw University of Technology Statute.

3.Candidates shall submit the following documents:

3. candidate’s personal information form;
4. copy of the diploma of higher education confirming the obtained master’s degree or an equivalent degree
5. a list of research, teaching and organizational output and achievements
6. other documents certifying additional qualifications
7. acknowledgement of WUT as a primary place of employment, as defined in the Act of Law on Higher Education and Science
   1. a)the full capacity to perform acts in law
   2. b)enjoying full civil rights
   3. c)not being convicted by a valid sentence for an intentional crime or an intentional tax offence
   4. d)no disciplinary penalty as defined in Article 276 section 1

items 7 and 8 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 being imposed on them
