Skills/Qualifications

A fixed-term research and teaching assistant will be involved in teaching and research work, including scientific projects and grants in the water supply and sewage systems team at the Department of Water and Wastewater Systems.

Specific Requirements

  • Completion of higher education and obtaining a masters degree or equivalent in Environmental Engineering, specializing in water supply and sewage systems;
  • Very good knowledge of Polish;
  • Very good knowledge of English (or another foreign language);
  • Knowledge of issues related to internal water supply and sewage systems in buildings;
  • Knowledge of issues related to water supply and sewage disposal systems;
  • Knowledge of IT tools used to manage water supply and sewage networks, including hydraulic modeling software;
  • Ability to think analytically, plan tasks, and organize work time;
  • Ability to work in a team and cooperate, communication skills;
  • Ability to use GIS programs (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS);
  • Operation of application systems and systems for modeling water supply and sewage networks (e.g., EPANET, SWMM, Sewer GEMS, or others);
  • Willingness to conduct classes.
