Job Description

We are looking for an Asset Servicing Analyst to join us on one of Korn Ferrys exciting clients. Highly motivated individual will be required to:

• Monitor, reconcile and correspond of International and UK corporate action events across all entities of the firm.
• Manage and escalate risk on open corporate action events.
• Liaise with internal/external counterparts around Asset Servicing events with timely resolution and appropriate escalation to senior management on any potential risk to the firm.
• Process and understand dividends/coupons across all markets.
• Work with settlement team to ensure all open trades are settled prior to key dates on event.
• Ensure correct internal and market bookings are reflected on corporate action events (trades and nostro correction/booking).
• Perform reconciliation on all events where we house positions or open trade(s).
• Manage risk associated with outstanding payables & receivable balances for all internal entities (dividends and coupon claims).
• Review daily trade lists and cash reconciliations for client money process.
• Process SWIFT instructions (MT202, MT599).
• Communicate with agents and internal areas/trading desks to resolve disputes.
• Maintain daily stock & cash breaks.
• Maintain group mailbox queries.
• Review and take action on firm positions, conversions and depot transfers for corporate action events.
• Assist with DWAC conversion process and navigate EUCLID.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management and escalation of risk associated to open events where the firm holds positions.
• Discuss appropriate actions with desks for events where the firm holds positions and provide event details.
• Ensure all aspects of corporate action events are covered; work with settlement team to settle trades prior to key dates.
• Confirm correct bookings on corporate action events.
• Perform reconciliations on events with open positions or trades.
• Manage risk on dividends/coupon claims.
• Review daily trade lists and cash reconciliations for client money process.
• Process SWIFT instructions.
• Communicate with agents and internal stakeholders to resolve differences and disputes.
• Maintain stock & cash break management.
• Manage group mailbox queries.
• Ensure appropriate action on conversions, depot transfers, and DWACs.

Systems used

• CREST, SunGard IntelliMATCH, XSP/XSPRISA, Swift (MT599, MT202), EUCLID, Phase3, Euroclear intranet, various agent portals.
