As an Asset Service Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and reconciling corporate action events across multiple markets, ensuring timely resolution of issues, and mitigating risk. This is a detail‑oriented role that requires strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring, reconciling, and corresponding on international and UK corporate action events across all entities.
- Managing and escalating risk associated with open corporate action events.
- Liaising with internal and external counterparts to ensure timely resolution and appropriate escalation of potential risks.
- Processing and understanding dividends and coupon payments across multiple markets.
- Ensuring accurate internal and market bookings for corporate action events.
- Performing daily reconciliation of stock and cash breaks and managing aged items.
- Handling SWIFT payment instructions (e.g., MT202, MT599).
- Managing group mailboxes and ensuring queries are resolved promptly.
- Supporting client money reviews and ensuring compliance with segregation requirements.
- Assisting with conversion processes (e.g., DWACs) and navigating systems such as EUCLID.
The Ideal Candidate Will Bring
- Strong ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good knowledge of corporate action processes and practices in key markets (UK, US, and Europe).
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with operations organizations and trade lifecycle.
- Ability to influence and build relationships across the organization.
- Experience with systems such as SWIFT, CREST, EUCLID, and reconciliation tools (e.g., SunGard IntelliMATCH, XSP/XSPRISA).
