Asset Operations Manager (F/M/D) – Ignitis Renewables

We are looking for a colleague to join the Ignitis Poland team and take the leading role in our O&M department. The role focuses on managing internal teams and service providers, ensuring the safe, efficient and high‑quality operation of renewable energy projects across Poland.

Key Responsibilities

• Directing asset operations in Poland, building and managing a high‑performing team.
• Contributing to regional Ignitis Renewables O&M strategy and goal setting.
• Developing and implementing operation and maintenance strategies for renewable energy plants and assets in Poland.
• Utilizing internal and external competencies to ensure optimal performance of complex renewable energy projects.
• Accountability for achieving production and availability budgets and identifying solutions to increase profitability.
• Maintaining maintenance schedules for wind technology projects in Poland.
• Overseeing smooth handover from construction to operations.
• Reporting on performance, challenges, opportunities and collaborating across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience in operation and maintenance of power plants in Poland.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience, including line management of professionals.
• Experience managing renewable energy technology and balance‑of‑plant service providers.
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and related legal acts.
• Skills in MS Office Suite and knowledge of SCADA systems.
• Valid driving licence and passport.
• Business fluency in English to communicate across Ignitis Renewables’ operating countries.
