We are looking for an AS/400 Application Developer to drive the development and support of mission-critical business applications. You’ll work hands-on with RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2/400 technologies, building and enhancing solutions that directly impact internal operations and customer experience. This role blends deep technical expertise with cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and involvement across the full software development lifecycle — from coding and testing to implementation and user support.
Stack: AS400, SQL, RPGLE, CLLE + proficiency in English and Polish
responsibilities :
Programming on AS400 technologies such as RPG 400, RPGLE, CLLE, SQL.
Define test plans and perform unit and string testing.
Provide support for User Acceptance Testing post-implementation.
Resolve user-reported issues based on the criticality of impact on internal and external customers.
Application development, including complex code development, application testing, and component design.
Create technical documentation.
Present technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
requirements-expected :
Extensive knowledge of the AS400 platform, including RPG 400, RPGILE, CLLE, SQL 400, SQLRPGLE, and DB2 400.
Hands-on experience with change management tools such as TURNOVER, TAATOOL, and HAWKEYE.
Working experience with Integrated File System and networking concepts on AS400.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good understanding of technology and architectural concepts.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong team player with a self-starting attitude.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred: Experience in web service development on the AS400 platform.
