Your Role
Artwork Project Manager in Capgemini Connected Marketing Services, working with a key client’s global innovation and design teams to support the delivery of packaging artwork projects from design through print production. The role leads multiple packaging artwork projects, with a strong background in project management and over 5 years of experience. The candidate will lead cross-functional meetings, align priorities, allocate resources, and improve artwork management efficiency. The role requires building relationships with cross-functional teams (R&D, Sourcing, Supply, Design, Operations) to ensure successful delivery of new products to market.
Your Tasks
- Lead and oversee multiple packaging artwork projects from design through to print package
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (marketing, design, R&D, regulatory, supply chain) and external stakeholders (agencies, printers, suppliers)
- Set the agenda and clearly define cross-functional responsibilities from project start to completion
- Facilitate regular communication to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables
- Maintain up-to-date records of project progress using project management tools and spreadsheets, tracking milestones, deliverables, and deviations from the plan
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, or delays in the artwork development process and implement solutions to mitigate them
- Compile regular artwork project reports highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions and communicate findings to senior artwork project managers and cross-functional teams
- Manage feedback loops, consolidating inputs to minimize iterations and maintain efficiency
- Act as a mentor/coach for junior team members
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, project management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in artwork management, packaging, printing, digital assets, or project management within a CPG or FMCG environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment across functions (marketing, R&D, sourcing, external design agencies, operations)
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Jira
- Familiarity with artwork and design software; basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to communicate with creative teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Highly collaborative with experience working with Global & Local stakeholders
- Functional knowledge of marketing, branding, and new product development
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
