ART DIRECTOR (2 YEAR FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)

As the Slots Central Art Director , youll be the driving force behind crafting immersive visual experiences for our players. Your mission is to develop and maintain a creative vision that captivates and excites slot enthusiasts. By leading the art team and collaborating closely with Game Designers, youll transform ideas into vibrant, engaging realities.

Responsibilities:

• Directly manage Art Team Leads and Technical Artists, while overseeing a talented team of Artists and Animators. Guide the entire team toward consistent creative success by fostering collaboration and maintaining high standards across all projects.
• Choose the most suitable art style to elevate gameplay and theme, ensuring visual coherence and high production standards.
• Provide detailed feedback on artwork, maintaining a sharp focus on quality, deadlines, and polish.
• Advise on timelines and resource allocation, maintaining a steady flow across multiple projects.
• Support product development, maintenance, and marketing with creative solutions that enhance the user experience.
• Spearhead concept designs for new games, transforming ideas into impactful visuals.
• Establish art standards and style guides, continually refining the creative workflow to boost efficiency.
• Keep a finger on the pulse of design trends by analyzing competitors, ensuring our visuals remain innovative and fresh.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in leading creative teams, with an exceptional eye for artistic styles and design choices.
• 5+ years hands-on experience as 2D Artist or Animator.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and familiarity with other key tools for art/animation file preparation.
• Expertise in the design principles and visual elements essential to creating engaging slot games.
• Adept at balancing creative vision with business needs, while resolving conflicting inputs to deliver a unified artistic direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration across departments.
• Ability to apply narrative techniques to enhance the emotional impact and engagement of the visual design.
• Strong English, written and verbal communication skills.
