Job Description

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned area
  • Identify market opportunities and devise tactics to capitalize on them.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of sales strategies
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes
  • Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities and challenges.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of pharmaceutical sales representatives
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals and institutions
  • Address customer needs and concerns to promote the companys products and services
  • Set and monitor sales targets for the team
  • Ensure sales representatives meet or exceed their individual and team quotas
  • Provide guidance and support to improve sales performance
  • Ensure that all sales activities and promotional efforts comply with industry regulations and company policies
  • Conduct regular training to educate the team on compliance requirements
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and team activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business)
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry regulations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
