  • The Central Europe Digital Area Team leads digital innovations and drives digital excellence to support the Digital & E-Commerce teams in the end markets of Germany, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Switzerland and Austria to achieve the commercial targets within the BAT E-Commerce Agenda.
  • Therefore, to drive innovation and new traffic to own E-Commerce opportunities, we are hiring an AREA ECOMMERCE CRO & UX MANAGER.
  • This role is about enablement of CE ecommerce growth by optimizing consumer funnel and increasing UX and Consumer Experience. It contains strong consumer centric viewership (funnel optimization based on consumer data coming from analytics) and technical ownership (site performance, ongoing UX enhancements, new rollouts and optimization).
  • Core of the role is close collaboration with End Market’s ecommerce team, DBS ( Digital Business Solution) team and Growth Hub and Area E-commerce Team.
  • Geographic Scope: Area (Central Europe): Germany / Poland / Switzerland / Austria/ Czechia/Slovakia

responsibilities :


  • Lead the CRO/UX team (UX/Analytics/AB testing experts)
  • Own whole CE UX and CRO landscape
  • Own budget and secure resources (vendors, GDS, HUB)
  • Supervise with EMs and DBS and vendors all area UX initiatives
  • Support EMs with local CX solutions
  • Drive and deliver new stores openings (UX creation/adaptation with agencies, launching CRO tools and implementing analytics)
  • Leading the optimization of consumer funnel across CE
  • Leading and owning UX/UI optimization across CE
  • Leading and owning AB Testing across CE
  • Be UX centre of excellence for all CE platforms (ecom, loyalty, LPs, unbranded)
  • Drive innovation and digital culture across organization
  • Leverage knowledge transfer between the different countries in the area
  • Work cross-functionally and agile with brand, legal, activation, research, finance, IT and trade departments within the area

requirements-expected :


  • Leadership and managerial skills to drive and lead team of experts and different level of stakeholders
  • Fluent in Digital by multiyear experience especially in consumer journey management and optimization (CRO uplift and CJ simplification)
  • Ability to propose and develop UX/UI optimization/new framework
  • Functional knowledge of ecommerce (architecture, integration, MG2 platforms)
  • Functional knowledge and skills (G360, Figma, ContentSquare, Hotjar)
  • Experience in leading UX rollouts and AB testing
  • 4+ years’ experience in interactive/software development/UX, preferable in digital agency
  • Very strong conceptional and analytical skills + innovation approach
  • Commercial background and experience
  • Strong drive & hands on mentality
  • Ambitious & consumer centric attitude
  • Very strong technical understanding: GA4, Figma, ContentSquare, Hotjar, Adobe Target, AEM or similar
  • Proficient in English, German skills can be helpful
