Area Commercial Manager, G&O Origination

Job Description

This position will be responsible for executing the whole district purchase process: clients searching and price negotiations. Additionally, the position will have responsibility for identifying profitable trading opportunities in the market based on information gathered from the physical side of the business.

• Monitoring of grain and oilseeds market development and pricing
• Conclusion of purchase transaction
• Control over the execution of the purchase transaction
• Contacts with counterparties and negotiations
• Primary work with silos regarding the re‑registration of property rights and the loading of the goods
• Relevant LD price calculation
• Ensure data collection for LDCU trading and research
• Provide commercial and support functions with the updated market information

3 (plus) years of commercial experience in the grain trade or other relevant commodity trading experience.

• Good negotiating skills and results orientation
• Good analytical skills and the ability to select relevant information from a flow of information (distinction between main and side issues)
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
• Understanding the developments in and the application of the grain market in the country
• Detail-oriented
• Proficiency with MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Higher education/Bachelors degree.

• Understanding of the supply and demand relationship
• Strong grasp of the Polish Agricultural market i.e., participants in it, stakeholders
• Strong numerical skills

• Eager to grow personally and professionally
• Open for changes, readiness to accept a different point of view
• Team player
