Data Platform is a new strategic product at OEC. Its goal is to enable domains teams to deliver better quality data to our products faster through reliable and secure cloud infrastructure. As part of this journey, you will play a key role in shaping the technology vision and making architecture decisions for the platform. You will influence our product roadmap and work closely with other product and enterprise architects to drive how the data empowers our automotive business. This is a unique opportunity to leave a real footprint in building architecture for data mesh.
Your Profile
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, platform engineering, or related fields, with a strong focus on designing and managing end-to-end platform solutions.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud platform technologies like:
- Storage: S3, Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB
- Ingestion: Glue, Kinesis-Kafka, Transfer Family
- Processing: Glue, Lambda, Fargate
- Analytics: Athena, PowerBI
- Governance: Lake Formation, IAM
- LakeFormation, DataZone
- Orchestration: StepFunctions
- Good understanding of data processing patterns and ELT processes.
- Experience in Terraform for automating infrastructure management.
- Expertise in DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

,[Design, build, and manage the full lifecycle of a modern data platform, covering everything from infrastructure provisioning to data governance, Ensure smooth integration of the platform with applications, Data Lake, and enterprise services, maintaining a consistent and intuitive experience for its users., Develop a scalable and resilient architecture that supports integrations with data producers and access patterns for consumers., Utilize Terraform for building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline and automate infrastructure setup and maintenance., Ensure observability of the platform’s infrastructure, pipeline execution and data management, Champion data governance across the platform, implementing access controls, security policies and audit mechanisms aligned with best practices., Establish secure cloud storage and interfaces for data that meet compliance standards and protect sensitive information.
