For our American Client - we are looking for AR TEAM LEAD in Warsaw.
In your role, you will manage a team of accountants and senior accountants providing AR-related services to PBS Poland internal and external customers. Responsible for providing quality service to stakeholders, ensuring proper customer credit management, correct cash application, timely and accurate billing/invoicing, effective cash collection and dispute management, bad debt provisions, application of relevant controls – meeting the SLA targets set for the Team.
Responsible for adopting standard processes and pursuing efficiencies within the team and area of responsibility. Interacts with internal and external auditors, customers and finance business partners and stakeholders. Responsible for daily management of Team resources, also supports the C2C Tower Lead in team development, career planning and recruitment of employees.

Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a Shared Services environment, of which at least 2 as an AR Team Lead.
- Masters or Bachelor Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting.
- Experience leading teams (5+ employees) and growing their talent.
- Knowledge of Finance in general and Accounts Receivable in particular.
- SAP Finance experience.
- Practical experience managing operations performance (SLAs, KPIs).
- Hands-on experience of Shared Services transition a plus.
- Fluent in English - Polish and additional European languages an asset (German, French, Italian, Spanish).
- Practical knowledge of internal controls (SOX) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team responsible for delivering C2C processes including credit management, collections, disputes, cash application.
- Provide subject matter expertise to the C2C team where required.
- Ensure adherence to the closing calendar for period-end C2C close.
- Responsible for managing escalations.
- Ensure alignment with other functions (e.g. P2P, R2R, Cash, Working capital) for cross-functional activities.
