AR Administrator with German Miejsce pracy: Łódź Your responsibilities This is what your job entails The AR administrator is in a supportive function for the German headquarter. The employee is responsible for conducting compliance checks to ensure regulatory requirements are met. The tasks are performed for various entities within the Otto group. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders across departments and group companies, as well as compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and accounting standards. It furthermore encompasses the alignment of data files in English and German language. Your tasks: • You will support the Otto marketplace’s own payment institution (financial services provider) • You will manually process incoming payments in compliance with legal requirements • You will work with accounts receivable / open-item accounting and end-customer payment transactions Your contribution: With the responsibility to perform the activities on time and accurately, you will shape the Group Finance Support team. You will support the ongoing optimization of finance processes and systems, contributing to harmonized workflows, automation initiatives, and high service quality. Your environment: The Group Finance Support team will be closely cooperating with the German headquarter and different stakeholders across departments and group companies. You will work with different accounting systems and support financial processes in an international environment. Your experience: You have a minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting / finance related field, industry or shared service. You have prior experience working with B2C processes in an end-customer business environment. Your skills: You have a minimum B2-level English proficiency as well as knowledge of German language is a must (minimum B2). You have experience working with accounts receivable / open-item accounting and end-customer payment transactions. You possess accounting process knowledge and the ability to handle complex transactions independently. In addition, you bring a strong IT affinity and an eye for detail. Good communication skills, and an independent, structured way of working round off your professional profile. Your softskills: You have “can do” attitude.
