Join us as an AR Accounting Specialist with German in our Finance Managed Services team at PwC Polska. We are rapidly expanding and looking for someone to play an important role in supporting and transforming the operations of our domestic and international clients.
Our team continuously enhances operations by applying best practices, streamlining processes, and integrating cutting-edge technological solutions for our customers. We collaborate closely with expert consulting teams to provide comprehensive finance services, including accounting and reporting, tax, and financial planning & analysis, across various sectors in the region.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and distribute invoices, ensuring accuracy in detail such as amounts, customer information, and payment terms.
- Manage all aspects of payment collection, processing various payment methods, and reconciling the AR ledger to ensure all payments are correctly posted.
- Handle customer account management by responding to inquiries regarding invoices, payment status, and account balances.
- Provide detailed analysis of portfolio aging, identify areas of concern based on company guidelines, and highlight potential process improvements.
- Process bank statement transactions within the ERP system, verify discrepancies, and clear unmatched transactions.
- Comply with quantity and quality indicators (SLAs, KPIs, customer satisfaction metrics) and support the onboarding of new peers into team processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2–3 years hands-on experience managing Accounts Receivable functions within a corporate environment.
- Professional working proficiency in English and German, with proven ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
- Demonstrated experience with leading accounting software platforms and ERP systems for transaction processing and financial record maintenance.
- Involvement in onboarding new clients or supporting the rollout of enhanced customer service procedures within a finance or accounting environment.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in working in SSC.
- ACCA or any other accounting certificate started.
