Are you ready to shape AR department and develop yourself further in this area?

We are currently transferring new processes into Poland, hence we are looking for a new colleague to support us with this matter. Join our team in Szczecin which consists of 8 talented accountants.

What you will own and manage in your day-to-day work at Wilhelmsen:

  1. Bank Statement processing and matching payments against open items.
  2. Participation in month end closing activities.
  3. Generating and sending out invoices.
  4. Reconciliation of AR accounts and discrepancies clarification.
  5. Ensuring daily operations are carried out according to set targets and deadlines.
  6. Taking part in transitions from other Wilhelmsen Port Services (WPS) regions – as part of a transition into Global Business Services (GBS).
  7. Ensuring best practice across all accounts receivable tasks by maintaining current process documentation (i.e. visio, WI, guidelines) and taking part in process improvements.

This role is a perfect challenge for you if you have:

  1. 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
  2. Good knowledge of accounting principles.
  3. Proficient in English, both written and verbal - we communicate with our colleagues all over the world.
  4. Ability to provide quality data, structure tasks, and organize daily work.
  5. Good combination of team playing, proactivity and willingness to develop in finance – those qualities will help you to solve tricky cases.

Nice to have:

  1. Previous experience in a similar Accounts Receivable environment within an organization or SSC/BPO environment.
  2. Education related to economics, finance or related fields.
  3. Proficiency in Excel.
