About the department

Accounts Receivable department supports Coloplast entities across the globe in ensuring that Customer Accounts are up to date. We are split into two teams, Banks & Cash and Customer Ledger & Collection that perform cash applications, collect direct debit, prepare dunning letters & customer statements, deliver aging reports, support debt collection, and continuously work on improving Accounts Receivable processes. Accounts Receivable is part of Global Finance Support located in Szczecin.



About the job

AR Accountant is responsible for keeping Customer Ledger up to date. Currently, we are looking for a new colleague for a temporary contract (approx. 18 months) with a possibility to be prolonged.



Responsibilities

  1. Run dunning processes
  2. Customer accounts statements
  3. Resolving discrepancies on Customer accounts
  4. Issuing manual invoices and credit notes
  5. Performing matchings on customer ledger
  6. Daily contact with customers and/or business stakeholders
  7. Preparing ad hoc reports
  8. Month-end closing activities


Requirements

  1. Good written and verbal English skills
  2. Education in Finance/ Accountancy/ Economy/ Business Management or similar
  3. Practical experience in Excel
  4. Data entry skills
  5. Willingness to learn and develop in accounting area
