A Scandinavian logistics company is establishing an exciting new hub in Tri-City—and we’re searching for a talented Application Specialist with expertise in TMS (Transportation Management System) to join us on this journey!

In this role, you’ll be a pivotal part of our IT and logistics operations, supporting and optimizing our TMS application to ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate workflows. You’ll manage daily application tasks, troubleshoot issues, and identify ways to enhance processes, all while working closely with end-users to improve their experience.

What we expect

• Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Technical curiosity to diagnose and resolve
  technical issues within TMS systems, contributing to seamless logistics operations.
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication skills for working withcross-functional teams, ensuring that TMS configurations align with business needs.
• Data Mapping and Batch Processing: Practical skills/or understanding in mapping dataflows within TMS and setting up batch jobs to support operational efficiency.
• System Administration: Familiarity with TMS configurations, including security settings,
  permissions, and layout adjustments.
• Crystal Reports: Interest or proficiency in using Crystal Reports to create and manage
  documents within TMS environments.
• Curiosity and Interest in IT field: A proactive attitude toward learning and continually
  improving in IT field
• Familiarity in TMS systems eg. Carlo / CargoWise / Crystal Report
• Solid written and communication English skills (B2+/C1)

Your tasks

• Mapping data internally in/out of TMS
• Setting up batchjobs etc. In TMS systems (Carlo /CargoWise)
• Contributing to streamlined logistics workflows
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting of the TMS platforms tominimize disruptions
• Supporting settings and layouts in TMS’s, including security rights, functional program settings and data mapping
• Creating documents in Crystal Reports to support business insights and operational decision-making
• Understanding of the forwarding business to tailor TMS configurations that meetlogistics and operational demands
• Collaborating with the TMS users, our suppliers and Group IT colleagues
