In this role, the Software Engineer will be responsible for analysis of requirements, design, coding and verification of product software for power electronics control modules according to Automotive SPICE process in the area of AUTOSAR architecture.

Job Purpose

In this role, the Software Engineer will be responsible for analysis of requirements, design, coding and verification of product software for power electronics control modules according to Automotive SPICE process in the area of AUTOSAR architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Performs analysis of software requirements
  2. Performs software design
  3. Generates software code for real-time embedded systems either by manual coding, configuration of AUTOSAR modules or auto coding of SIMULINK models
  4. Perform software verification on test bench and vehicle
  5. Generates software documentation: design, test plans, test results
  6. Provide software development support to BorgWarner and customer on test trips

What We’re Looking For

  1. At least Bachelor’s diploma in engineering in relevant field
  2. Previous experience with embedded systems/software and functions is essential
  3. High voltage power electronics experience is beneficial, but not mandatory
  4. AUTOSAR and ISO26262 knowledge is preferred
  5. Matlab/Simulink experience is required
  6. Knowledge of C languages is essential
  7. Experience of working with V-model based process environment (preferably ASPICE) is required
  8. Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills is required
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  10. Fluency in English is required
