Application Software Engineer

Your responsibilities
- Develop and program automation solutions in TIAPortal.
- Design and implement SCADA systems.
- Integrate MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- Work with a variety of automation systems, including sensors, inverters, and servodrives, and perform diagnostics and configuration of devices used in the company’s portfolio.
- Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of equipment at customer sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, automation engineers, and project managers, to develop fully integrated solutions.
- Conduct regular system diagnostics, monitor performance, and make necessary improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Offer on-site support and training to clients on the use and operation of the automation systems you design and implement.
- Travelling to customer sites (mainly USA) for system integration, testing and support.
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation.
- At least 3 years of experience in similar position, working with automation systems, including sensors, inverters, and servodrives, and a desire to learn diagnostics and configuration of these devices.
- Proficiency in SCL language, PLC programming (Siemens) and SCADA creating.
- Proficiency in English - C1 level at least.
- Ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients and team members.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally on short notice, and for extended periods, as required by project demands.
- EU Driving License – Category B.
- CV in English.
