• Manage application security initiatives across the SDLC, from design to deployment
• Perform threat modeling, security code reviews, and vulnerability assessments
• Collaborate with developers to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
• Define and enforce secure coding standards and best practices
• Evaluate and implement security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, etc.)
• Respond to security incidents and support remediation efforts
• Educate teams through training, workshops, and security awareness programs
• Stay ahead of emerging threats and industry trends

• Strong understanding of application security principles and OWASP Top 10
• Hands-on experience with security testing tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ability to write and review secure code in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and automation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Security certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, CSSLP) are a plus
