How you will make an impact

As a member of the EUC Team and part of the Infrastructure Services Department, the Application Management Specialist position at Arla offers a rewarding permanent role that is integral to our ongoing team development and the insourcing of new services. In this role, youll leverage your technical expertise to streamline our application deployment processes, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient software distribution throughout the company. Youll work closely with a dedicated team to embrace innovative solutions and maintain the highest standards of application lifecycle management.

In this fast-paced environment, youll be expected to:

• Support preparation and transferring traditional packages to modern ways of working.
• Provide technical support on design, implementation, and maintenance of all facets of application management solutions within the company.
• Perform analysis of current deployments to detect potential vulnerabilities.
• Support the team in managing all aspects of Windows 10/11 during its lifecycle, Configuration Manager, Autopilot, and Co-management solutions.
• Prepare, develop, deploy, and maintain dedicated desktop operating systems images and applications packages for Configuration Manager, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop solutions.
• Understand security, compliance, and licensing capabilities.

What will make you successful

The ideal candidate for the Application Management Specialist in Arlas End User Computing team will combine deep technical expertise with a set of distinct personal qualities that are essential for success in this role:

• Extensive knowledge of application packaging solutions (MSI, MSIX) dedicated for Configuration Manager, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop.
• At least 3 years of hands-on IT experience (at least 1 year experience with preparing and deploying application packages and dedicated OS images).
• Advanced scripting knowledge (task automation).
• Knowledge of design, delivery, and maintenance lifecycles.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and related policies.
• Knowledge of managing Windows 10/11 and Autopilot solutions.
• Understanding of ITIL and Agile processes (possessing ITIL and SAFE certification is a plus).
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical tasks.
• Detail-oriented team player with a strong technology background.
• Configuration Manager / Modern Desktop / Windows 10/11 certifications are a plus.
• Education at Master’s level within Information Systems, Engineering, or similar.
• Experience working in a multicultural and global environment/company.
