As part of implementation/onboarding team in Sales department of TPC, you will assist implementation managers in onboarding new or existing customers on TPC API. Your role is to enable seamless and efficient API integration between TPC and agencies or aggregators using our APIs. Key duties include collaborating with product/engineering teams and implementation managers, implementing NDCs API and standards, understanding of APIs behaviours, errors and supplier responses, ensuring API performance, and troubleshooting issues.
responsibilities :
Supporting implementation managers in the responses to provide the integration of partners (travel agents, technology providers) with NDC APIs, ensuring correct implementation and adherence to standards.
Conducting extensive testing of NDC API integrations to ensure functionality, pricing accuracy, and ancillary service delivery.
Liaise with stakeholders by ensuring smooth communication across airlines, agencies, technology partners, and internal teams, while also providing input to the Product team on potential enhancements.
Identifying and resolving technical issues related to NDC API connectivity and data exchange.
Reviewing and updating the documentation based on new API releases.
Acting as level 1 support for customers to reply to questions relative to API documentation or API behaviours (Jira communication).
Supporting implementation managers during calls or meetings done with customers to respond to technical questions, feedback and act on resolution.
Improve processes and enhance onboarding and certification with automation, tools, and streamlined workflows.
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years experience in API integration, technical support, or a similar role.
Technical experience in the travel industry, with direct exposure to airline reservation systems and practical knowledge of IATA NDC schemas and workflows.
Deep technical expertise in Web Services (REST, SOAP), including designing, integrating, and troubleshooting APIs with JSON and XML payloads.
Strong experience working with schemas (.xsd)
Experience with API Management toolsets, API Testing Tools like SOAPUI, postman, cURL.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java), with the ability to write scripts for automation, error handling, and data parsing.
Familiar with Jira service management and Confluence.
