What You Will Be Doing
As the leader of the Accounts Payable team, you will drive decision‑making, process improvement and stakeholder communication across the value chain. You will manage a high‑responsibility team of skilled professionals, ensuring efficient invoice processing, invoicing quality, timely payments and continuous operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of operational and technical staff, overseeing skills, performance, planning and development.
- Maintain competency levels and develop functional plans to meet operational goals.
- Foster team engagement, recognize achievements, and share best practices across teams.
- Act as first point of contact for escalations involving daily activities of the team and stakeholders, including internal governance.
- Ensure effective communication and relationship management with stakeholders such as other team leaders, management, project members, business units and external clients.
- Drive efficiency and data quality improvement, initiating cost‑benefit analyses to enhance process performance.
- Identify and mitigate potential delays and workload risks, proactively managing team capacity.
- Plan audits, ensure resource availability and meet delivery deadlines.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives and facilitate change management for process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Accounting, Management, Economics or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and related process applications.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proven leadership and people‑development skills.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Proactive approach and problem‑solving mindset.
