We are looking for a AP Accountant to join international team in Warsaw. If you have a strong command of English, some experience in Polish accounting, and a basic understanding of Polish tax law, this opportunity is for you!

What we expect

• higher education in accounting or a related field
• previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• experience in polish accounting with a basic understanding of polish tax law (VAT, CIT)
• proficiency in english at C1 level
• customer-driven mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
• independent and proactive approach to work, along with good teamwork skills
• familiarity with SAP systems is a plus

Your tasks

• processing purchase invoices and payments
• handling queries and escalations related to accounts payable
• maintaining accounts payable and supporting month-end closing activities (accruals, reconciliations, internal controls)
• supporting the maintenance of vendor master data and the local travel & expense (TEM) process, including processing claims and credit card administration
• close collaboration with the procurement department, business stakeholders, and vendors
• driving continuous improvement in daily finance activities related to PTP
• participating as a subject-matter expert in ongoing PTP - related projects
