Due to the dynamic growth of our organization, we are looking for a person who will strengthen our finance department and take on the role of Accounts Payable Accountant. As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of supplier invoices and payments.
We are looking for someone detail-oriented, well-organized, and experienced in full AP processes. Depending on the company structure, this role may include supporting more than one legal entity, offering exposure to a diverse business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of supplier invoices: registration, verification, and posting.
- Ensuring document compliance with purchase orders (PO and non-PO).
- Preparing and executing payments and monitoring due dates.
- Reconciling vendor accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Processing credit and debit notes.
- Daily communication with suppliers and collaboration with internal departments (procurement, logistics, operations, controlling).
- Supporting month-end closing activities (accruals, reports, account reconciliations).
- Preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
- Managing AP processes for more than one legal entity.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position within accounting or finance, ideally in an Accounts Receivable role.
- Comprehensive, end-to-end experience in Accounts Receivable, covering full AR processes rather than only selected tasks.
- Higher education in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certificates or completed accounting/finance courses are highly welcomed.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Practical experience with ERP systems (SAP, INFOR LN or similar preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- English language skills B2.
