We are seeking a skilled Senior AOSP Developer to join a long-term project focused on the development and integration of Android (AOSP) at the framework and HAL/vendor layer level. The project is dedicated to modern mobile and wearable devices based on the Qualcomm platform. The developer will be responsible for Android system customization, optimization, and integration of Qualcomm components including RIL, IMS, and eSIM.

AOSP Developer – Android & HAL Integration (Qualcomm Platform, Wearables/Mobile)

Your responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of AOSP (Android Open Source Project)
• Porting BSPs and patches between Android versions (e.g., Android 12 → 14)
• Integration of Qualcomm components: RIL, QMI, QCRIL, IMS, eSIM
• Customization and extension of Android Framework (Telephony, Connectivity, SystemUI)
• Optimization of boot time, memory usage, and system stability (ANR analysis)
• Support for operator certification processes

Our requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in AOSP development
• Strong hands-on experience with Android AOSP internals
• Proficiency in: Java, Kotlin, C++, Soong build system
• Solid experience working with Qualcomm BSPs and components
• In-depth knowledge of IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi, eSIM, SELinux
• Strong system-level debugging skills (system/modem level)
• Familiarity with tools such as QXDM, Anritsu, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
• Experience with wearable/embedded Android systems
• Knowledge of mobile communication standards: 3GPP, GSMA, ETSI
• English proficiency at B2+ level
• Commercial experience in wearable device development
• Background in telecom or embedded domains
