Wymagania Obowiązkowe
- Master’s degree, preferably in veterinary medicine, animal science, biology, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in supervising animal welfare and care in a research facility.
- Completed training in the care of animals intended for or used in scientific procedures.
- Completed training in supervising staff responsible for animal care.
- Completed training in methods of euthanasia for animals used in procedures.
- Knowledge of the Act on the Protection of Animals Used for Scientific or Educational Purposes.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactivity and the ability to adapt to change.
- Meticulousness and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of breeding programs.
- Good command of MS Office 365.
- Knowledge of English at a level enabling fluent communication.

- for persons participating in the performance of experimental procedures;

Codzienne Zadania
- Support in ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of the Animal Facility Department;
- High-level support for the PORT Institute research groups and service for external clients;
- Ensuring appropriate conditions for the housing and protection of laboratory animals;
- Supervision of personnel responsible for animal care within the organization;
- Oversight of the welfare of animals housed in the animal facility;
- Compliance with applicable regulations related to the operation of the animal facility within the organization;
- Compliance with work discipline, labor law regulations, internal rules, procedures, and guidelines in force within the organization, as well as occupational health and safety regulations;
- Work according to a schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
