About the project

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a global innovator in fitness and wellness technology. Their mission is to empower people to live fit, strong, long, and happy lives by delivering integrated experiences to millions of members anytime, anywhere.

As an Android Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a talented team building and maintaining Android mobile and TV applications used by over a million users globally. Working closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional leaders, you’ll ensure the delivery of scalable, performant, and delightful user experiences. This is both a leadership and a hands-on technical role, offering you the opportunity to shape team culture, define success metrics, and drive innovation across the Android ecosystem.

Stack: Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, REST, GraphQL, Firebase

Salary: 30,000 PLN - 35,000 PLN gross on the Contract of Employment

Working model: Hybrid - 3 days weekly from the office

Your responsibilities

Lead and inspire a distributed team of Android engineers working on mobile and TV apps.
Define clear team goals, success metrics, and growth opportunities.
Coach and mentor engineers at all levels to support professional development and performance.
Own delivery of scalable, performant features that delight users.
Translate product requirements into robust technical designs and engineering roadmaps.
Ensure best practices around testing, CI/CD, and Android development standards.
Partner closely with Product and Design to ensure alignment between user needs and technical execution.
Foster a data-informed culture that values experimentation and transparency.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Our requirements

6+ years of professional Android development experience (Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose).
Proven track record building and shipping mobile apps at scale.
2+ years managing or tech-leading engineering teams.
Strong people management skills—coaching, feedback, and career growth planning.
Experience hiring and developing high-performing engineering talent.
Strategic thinker who anticipates opportunities and challenges.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and business partners.
Curious, data-driven, and committed to building great products that make users’ lives better.
