Are you ready to play a key role in revolutionizing smart lock technology? Were looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team and help us advance our innovative smart lock solutions, poised to become the global leader in the industry.

About Us: Youll be joining a highly skilled and self-managed mobile team dedicated to extending and enhancing our core native mobile application for smartphones and Wear OS. This app allows users to set up, control, and manage their Tedee smart devices and is the cornerstone of our product. You’ll collaborate closely with your team to continuously improve the app, integrating the latest technologies and ensuring compatibility with the newest Android operating system updates and features. Working within a SCRUM environment, you’ll plan, design, implement, test, and release new features in two-week increments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extend our mobile and watch application by implementing new features based on requirements and UX designs.
• Collaborate with UX Designers to deliver the best user experience for Android.
• Keep the application up to date with the latest technology stack.
• Analyze user data to drive product improvements.
• Release new app versions, ensuring they are thoroughly tested and meet high-quality standards.
• Implement automated tests and maintain code quality.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as an Android Developer, with expertise in Kotlin.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Gradle and Git.
• Experience working with databases like Realm.
• Familiarity with Android architectures such as MVP.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• English proficiency for reading and understanding technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Bluetooth integration.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with geolocation and background tasks.
• Previous experience in IoT or smart home projects.
