We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to work on enterprise-scale applications with strong security and global reach.
We are developing an enterprise-scale platform for digital onboarding and remote identity verification. As an Android Developer, you will work on integrating mobile ID&V capabilities such as document capture and OCR, face capture with liveness checks, and secure submission of verification artifacts to backend services. The solution is built with strong security and privacy controls and integrates with external verification providers and internal risk/compliance workflows to deliver a reliable, compliant user onboarding experience.

responsibilities :
Oversee the full development lifecycle of Android app projects, including resource management, design, and leading development during critical phases.
Ensure high quality, performance, responsiveness, and security of Android applications.
Identify bottlenecks, review code, and fix bugs.
Maintain code quality, implement automation, organize codebases, and apply upgrades when available.
Manage both UI and app-layer integration with backend services.
Actively participate in planning, estimating, architecting, coding, and development.
Conduct regular refactoring and continuous improvement of codebases.
Communicate technical decisions effectively across the global team and take responsibility for releases and ongoing support.

requirements-expected :
Proven experience as a senior individual contributor or technical lead in large-scale mobile engineering projects.
Expert-level knowledge of Android development and ecosystem.
Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
Strong experience with Android Studio, Android SDK, and Jetpack libraries.
Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and networking in Android.
Experience with dependency injection frameworks (Dagger, Hilt), reactive programming (RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines), and local data storage (Room, SQLite).
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, Material Design, and custom view development.
Proficiency in unit testing and UI automation testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Git.Understanding of Android security best practices, performance optimization, and memory management.
Knowledge of app publishing process and Google Play guidelines.
Experience with background processing, multi-threading, and asynchronous programming.
Familiarity with third-party libraries, push notifications (Firebase), and Android permissions model.
Experience with Android NDK, native code integration (C/C++), Gradle build system, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and accessibility features.
BS degree in Computer Science or related field, 5+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in a senior role.
