What will your essential responsibilities include?

• Index claims-related documents for various lines of business.
• Create first notice of loss and set up incident-only claims in our claims systems.
• Reconcile coinsurance bordereau and enter payments/reserves in our claims systems.
• Collaborate with onshore teams to resolve complex scenarios and request additional information when needed.
• Maintain proper documentation of all procedures and updates.
• Participate in process meetings and monthly/quarterly audio and video conference calls.
• Ensure achievement of service level agreements and meet quality standards.

You will report to the Assistant Manager, Claims.

We’re looking for someone with these skills and abilities:

• University degree or relevant experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, minimum B2 level.
• Proven experience in the insurance industry, preferably in (re)insurance claims, with the ability to read and interpret insurance data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other common software.
• Inquisitive mind with strong analytical thinking skills.
• Good organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; communicative and open to new challenges.
