Analyst, Treasury Modelling Forecasting & Simulations

Liquidity Modelling & Design team build in-house app capabilities:
- Treasury Strats to facilitate group-wide Liquidity Risk Management and enable stress testing of contractual cash flows and forecasting. They deliver business value with the offer of a long-term balance sheet projections toolkit that also meets our regulatory commitments in Recovery & Resolution planning.
- Funds Transfer Pricing digitalization using our SHARP application. The team is delivering automation of internal pricing curves calculation, processing, and reporting across multiple locations. The business goal is to enhance data quality, transparency and consistency as well as facilitate exchange of FTP rates data with our business partners and related systems.
- Build prototypes, design new functionalities and develop solutions for in-house liquidity platforms.
- Gather and evaluate user requirements.
- Perform testing to support Quality Assurance and check User Experience.
- Provide walkthroughs to our users to train them on new tools.
- Be proactive and engage in pan-treasury activities to diversify your experience.
- Collaborate closely with developers and users.
- Gather new skills and knowledge thanks to wide offer of training platforms available.
Skills and Experience
- Final year of study or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or similar.
- Knowledge of Excel VBA / Python / R.
- Enjoys research & development of prototypes/models, analytical mindset.
- Basic knowledge of banking products and core banking systems.
- Experience in the design and development of automated reports/processes would be an advantage.
- Advanced written and verbal communication in English.
- Good analytical, communication and documentation skills.
- Flexible and responsive to handle changing priorities and urgent requests from management.
- Ability to work under pressure to complete responsibilities within identified deadlines.
- Creative problem solver with good multi-tasking skills and able to prioritise own tasks.
- Self-starter who can quickly get up to speed, is keen to learn and has a curious mindset.
