The team strives to remain ahead of the regulatory change agenda and ensures the business understands the implications and is prepared for change. It monitors how Global Businesses and Functions manage their responsibilities with regard to complying with the regulations and helps resolve compliance deficiencies.

Management of Risk.
The role holder is responsible for the identification of Compliance related models as classified by the Group Model Risk standards and ensuring that these are developed and managed in accordance with these standards.
The role holder should also implement and oversee appropriate controls and governance to any analytical products or services that are classified as non-models.
The role holder will provide appropriate and timely management and remedial action to any risks, issues or findings related to their responsibilities.
requirements-expected :
Fair understanding of applied mathematics, statistics, data science principles and advanced computing (machine learning, modelling, NLP and Generative AI).
Moderate experience working within the Hadoop ecosystem in addition to strong technical skills in analytical languages such as Python and SQL. Specific knowledge of GCP, AWS, Azure, Spark and/or graph theory an advantage.
Medium level understanding of data & architecture concepts including cloud, ETL, Ontology, Data Modelling.
Experience of using GIT, PowerPoint and Advanced Excel.
Understanding of Regulatory Compliance, risks and direct experience of deployment of controls and analytics to manage those risks.
Experience in Financial Services (experience within a tier one bank) or related industry.
