Analyst, Delegated Authority CoE (fixed term contract, 18 months)
As a fast-growing Centre of Excellence (CoE), we are looking for an Analyst to support our Delegated Authorities Insurance Platform. The successful applicant will join a collaborative team responsible for monitoring, cleansing, and mapping third-party data to internal systems while simultaneously driving continuous improvement initiatives to better meet business requirements.
You will be a member of a team responsible for analyzing, cleansing, and processing data as well as contacting clients in order to improve data quality and maintain good relationships with our stakeholders.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Performing accurate and timely analysis and reconciliation of financial statements received from third parties containing risk, premium, and claims information.
- Processing third-party data into internal systems.
- Liaising with internal and external parties in a confident, timely, and accurate manner.
- Producing documentation in relation to third-party payments (such as claims, commission, fees, and return premiums).
- Maintaining good technical knowledge in respect of all Delegated duties.
- Maintaining a good awareness of relevant regulatory requirements.
- Analyzing gaps in received bordereaux against Lloyds, AXA XL, and other required standards.
- Mapping bordereau and uploading to bordereau systems.
- Automating, enhancing, and improving existing processes/tools.
- Adapting and working under pressure in order to successfully meet deadlines.
- Maintaining good relationships with our clients and stakeholders.
- Providing regular status updates to management.
- Performing other ad hoc duties as required by management.
You will report to the local Assistant Manager.
We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
- Education: educated to degree level, active students with full-time availability, or equivalent through relevant work experience.
- Insurance market experience: ideally prior experience in a commercial insurance or financial services environment.
- Computer literate including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other commonly used software.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel (especially different formulas).
- Language proficiency: must have the ability to communicate (verbal & written) proficiently in English.
- Inquisitive mind with strong analytical thinking skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Communications: must have strong communication skills, being able to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels.
- Quality: has a concern for ensuring work is completed to a consistently high standard.
- Process-driven: seeks options for streamlining and consistency.
- Continuous self-improvement: keeps knowledge current in all relevant areas.
