The Analyst will engage in designing and delivering custom client analyses that provides actionable insights across ad-hoc projects, customer and campaign performance reports/analysis, supporting test design and measurement based on our client’s 1P (and 3P) data.
responsibilities :
Support analytics’ team leads to provide exceptional insight through the design and delivery of insightful, actionable analytic solutions
Understanding of project objectives, to perform advanced analytics tasks such as: (Customer profiling, Customer segmentation analysis
Customer / marketing KPI reporting and trending, Marketing/Campaign performance reporting, Audience sizing and file creation, Campaign test designs)
Discover hidden insights or patterns through advanced data mining techniques on un-structured business problems
Gather data from multiple diverse sources and ensure precision and accuracy
Apply SQL to query databases, perform data transformations, and extract necessary information
Ability to understand the results of analysis and identify/recommend opportunities to improve the client’s business and marketing efforts/performance
Consults and collaborates with Analytics team and business partners to determine requirements, data strategy and key business questions to be answered
SQL expertise to access and work with a wide variety of 1P and 3P data to derive the key findings for analysis
Translates high-level requirements into specific data-driven recommendations
Supports marketing planning and target audience development thru analysis such as customer profiling, segmentation, or cohorts constructed via available dashboards or SQL queries
Responsible for reporting and analysis of digital and other marketing data meant to support marketing and campaign optimization
Creates and delivers presentations related to data insights
Provides working knowledge of marketing management tools
requirements-expected :
Proven experience using SQL to extract data from marketing databases with the intention to create reporting or generate analyses (R and Python experience a plus)
Problem solving mentality and curiosity with the ability to work independently and within a team
2-5+ years experience within the client-services industry or from the client-side
Strong Excel and solid PowerPoint skills
Awareness of some/all of: Segmentation, Modeling, Testing Methodologies, Response Attribution and Engagement Analysis
