• an assistant professor in the research and teaching group (male/female);
• at the Faculty of Humanities (Institute of Linguistics and Literary Studies).

Skills/Qualifications

Candidates applying for the above position should meet the requirements set forth in Article 20(1) points 1-3 and Article 113 points 1 and 2 of the Law of July 20, 2018 - Law of Higher Education and Sciences and:

• have a masters degree in English linguistics;
• have a PhD in humanities in the field of linguistics;
• have experience in teaching English language at a university (higher education institution);
• have at least one scientific publication in the field of English linguistics, published in the journal indexed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education;
• have a communicative knowledge of Polish

Specific Requirements

• have knowledge of English language teaching methodology

• A copy of documents confirming obtaining the high school diploma and academic degrees.
• Information on his/her scientific, teaching and organizational activities, including a list of achievements and indicating the field/discipline he/she represents.

• A statement that he/she meets the requirements for the position of academic teacher.
• A clause expressing consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the recruitment process.

The competition committee reserves the right to interview in person with the candidates.

The competition is expected to be resolved by 31 January, 2026.

Planned employment as of February 23, 2026.

On the basis of 92 paragraph of the Statute of Siedlce University,the Rector reserves the right to withdraw from the settlement of the competition for important reasons.
