• an assistant professor in the teaching group (male/female)
• discipline: animal science and fisheries
• at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (Institute of Zootechnics and Fisheries)

Skills/Qualifications

Candidates applying for the above position should meet the requirements set forth in Article 20(1) points 1-3 and Article 113 points 1 and 2 of the Law of July 20, 2018 - Law of Higher Education and Sciences and:

• have a masters degree (MSc or MEng) in the field of agricultural sciences in the discipline of animal sciences and fisheries or veterinary medicine;
• have the qualifications and experience in the field of animal behavior, animal care, animal-assisted therapy, dogotherapy and animal training (courses, training, postgraduate studies);
• have an experience working with animals;
• have the ability to work in a team;
• be familiar with Polish to the extent that they are able to conduct academic classes;

Specific Requirements

Additional advantages will be:

• experience in organizational work of scientific associations;
• participation in scientific conferences.

The competition committee reserves the right to interview the candidates in person.

The competition is expected to be resolved by January 2026.

Planned employment as of February 23, 2026.

On the basis of paragraph 92 of the Statute of Siedlce University, the Rector reserves the right to withdraw from the settlement of the competition for important reasons.

Selected candidates will be contacted. The documents sent by the University will not be returned. In case the candidate is not employed, the documents will be destroyed. In order to meet the deadline for submitting applications, the date of their reception by the University is decisive.
