Job Description
The role involves full lifecycle management—planning, execution, and delivery—within agreed scope, timelines, and budget. Strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the AMI project end‑to‑end: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, including drafting RFPs and tender documents on behalf of our clients.
- Act as the primary liaison, ensuring clear communication and reporting to the client for vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Define scope, milestones, resource plans, risk strategies, and success metrics with cross‑functional teams.
- Manage engineering, implementation, QA, and support teams.
- Coordinate with OEMs, integrators, and partners for timely delivery of hardware and software.
- Ensure compliance with our clients and Polish regulatory standards, maintaining documentation and audit trails.
- Oversee testing, deployment, and performance of AMI components (smart meters, HES, MDMS, communication infrastructure).
- Lead procurement and selection processes for devices and services.
- Identify risks early and implement corrective actions.
- Provide regular dashboards and progress reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering/Technology; MBA or PMP preferred.
- 5+ years’ project management experience in utilities or smart metering.
- Hands‑on knowledge of AMI systems, smart meters, HES, MDMS.
- Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and tools (MS Project, JIRA).
- Understanding of smart grid regulations, cellular IoT, RF Mesh/PLC, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the country.
- Polish Public Procurement Law advantageous.
- Fluent in Polish and English is a requirement; French being advantageous.
