ALM Business Analyst – ING Hubs Poland
Salary: 9 600 – 19 000 PLN (actual range may vary as per remuneration regulations)
What we’re looking for
- Knowledgeable in risk‑management methodology
- Ability to decompose NPV and NII measures into risk factors
- Experience in ALM and/or Interest‑Rate Risk Management (IRRBB)
- Minimum 4 years experience in finance (bank or insurance) and a Master’s degree in a quantitative field (econometrics, mathematics, economics, etc.)
- Strong communication skills; liaison with local risk‑management departments, finance, data teams, UAT, model developers
- Team player, problem solver, proactive, and eager to learn
- Familiarity with ALM software (e.g., QRM, Fusion Risk, OneSumX, Moody’s Analytics)
- Knowledge of banking‑book product modelling (mortgages, savings, current accounts)
- Experience with SQL, PowerBI, and VBA
- Preferred: experience in agile (Scrum) ways of working
Your responsibilities
- Single point of contact for risk managers across ING entities worldwide
- Second‑line support for monthly processes
- Investigate and address queries from ING entities, recommending solutions
- Implement location‑specific requirements onto QRM, provide change documentation and test evidence
- Guardian of IRRBB metrics
- Foster automation of existing processes
Team & environment
The role is part of an international project team of about 90 ALM specialists based in Amsterdam (NL), Warsaw (PL) and Manila (PH). It operates in an agile setting and collaborates with Market Risk Management, TECH developers, ALM data experts, QRM experts, and business analysts. The Warsaw office is expanding, and the platform is being transformed into a group‑wide standard supporting global and local requirements.
