Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge scientific research in artificial intelligence and machine learning
- Conceptualize and develop innovative technologies that push the boundaries of AI
- Author and publish high-impact research papers in top-tier scientific journals and present findings at prestigious international conferences
- Lead and participate in collaborative projects with engineers, domain specialists, and fellow scientists in international research teams to translate theoretical breakthroughs into practical applications
- Actively monitor and contribute to the latest developments and trends in AI research, integrating state-of-the-art advancements into research practices
- Mentor junior researchers or contribute to the intellectual growth of the research team

Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Control Engineering, Physics, or Cognitive Science (Masters degree with exceptional research experience)
- Demonstrated expertise in technical programming, with proficiency in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and computational science
- Profound understanding of AI mathematics
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), multimodal foundation models, and state-of-the-art generative AI techniques
- Excellent scientific writing skills, with a track record of publications in reputable venues
- Outstanding communication abilities and proven capacity to collaborate effectively in diverse, interdisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated experience in exploratory, "blue sky" research projects that challenge conventional paradigms
- Familiarity with technology development processes and design thinking methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Publication record in top-tier AI conferences or journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACL, EMNLP)
- Extensive experience in training and optimizing large-scale AI models
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
o Numerical Linear Algebra
o Numerical Optimization Techniques
o Reinforcement Learning
o Spatio-temporal Grounding
o Adaptive and Stochastic Control Theory
o Signal Processing
o Explainable AI (XAI
o Dynamical Systems
o Cryptography and AI Security
- Experience with grant and patent writing
- Experience in organizing workshops, seminars, or conference tracks
