Your responsibilities In this role, you will guide the technical foundation for Vaillant Group’s AI strategy across key platforms (SAP, Salesforce, Azure, M365), fostering a culture of responsible innovation. You will develop and enforce AI standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices while integrating emerging AI technologies and trends. In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain robust AI solutions and support the AI Architect with platform-specific expertise. You will lead PoCs and MVPs to evaluate technical feasibility of use cases, maintaining a roadmap of AI capabilities within the platform. You will ensure alignment with AI ethics, security, and privacy standards by working with the AI Office, IT Security, and Information Security teams. Finally, you will champion knowledge sharing and inclusive collaboration, mentoring colleagues and driving change across Vaillant with kindness Our requirements Qualification: You have a university degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field, with a focus on Data Science or Data/ML Engineering. Experience: You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, particularly in an Advanced Analytics / AI context, and a proven track record in Generative AI (GenAI) or AI agents within Azure, M365, SAP, or Salesforce. Know-how and skills: You have proven experience with generative AI, AI agents, and cloud platforms such as MS Azure, M365, Salesforce, and SAP, and knowledge of AI ethics, security, and privacy standards. Nice to have: You have knowledge of AI ethics, security, and privacy standards; experience with governance frameworks and change management would be a plus. Personality: You are a collaborative, empathetic, and proactive, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences and to foster teamwork.
