The AI Innovation Specialist plays a key role in accelerating Amer Sports’ enterprise AI transformation, with a primary focus on the Finance function. While the role formally reports into Group IT, its day-to-day responsibilities are closely aligned with Finance priorities, acting as a strategic business partner to enable Finance to adopt AI effectively.
Focusing on building and scaling AI agents and agentic automations, the role partners with Finance stakeholders to improve forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, reporting automation, and insight generation. Acting as a bridge between Finance operations and IT/Data capabilities, the role identifies pain points, co-creates use cases, and accelerates pilot execution.
While the majority of focus centers on Finance, the role also contributes to select cross-functional initiatives to promote AI consistency, share learnings, and scale foundational capabilities across brands and regions.
responsibilities :
Partner with the Global Finance team to identify potential AI use cases across operational areas.
Assess each opportunity based on feasibility, value impact, and alignment with the enterprise AI strategy.
Collaborate with OTC, PTP, and RTR teams to understand process challenges and automation opportunities.
Design and develop AI agents and agentic automations to autonomously execute financial workflows.
Build solutions using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and other AI development platforms.
Create intelligent automation that integrates AI capabilities with existing finance systems and processes.
Develop proof-of-concepts and minimum viable products for AI-powered financial assistants.
Support the rollout and integration of AI solutions into existing Finance systems and workflows.
Provide training, user guidance, and documentation on AI tools and best practices.
Monitor, refine, and optimize deployed AI agents to ensure ongoing effectiveness and value realization.
Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and Data teams to clarify problem statements and desired outcomes.
Share learnings, templates, and best practices to enable scalable AI adoption across functions.
Contribute to AI awareness sessions, training activities, and internal showcases to build organizational capability.
Maintain oversight and tracking of proposed and in-flight AI initiatives in collaboration with the AI Taskforce.
Prepare clear progress updates, value realization reports, and key learnings for the AI Taskforce and Executive stakeholders.
requirements-expected :
Strong understanding of data analytics, generative AI solutions, core AI concepts, and emerging AI tools.
Solid financial knowledge and familiarity with finance processes and operational pain points.
Hands-on experience with AI development platforms such as Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and agentic automation frameworks, including prompt engineering for conversational and intelligent agent solutions.
Proficiency in Python, APIs, and modern AI/ML frameworks for building intelligent agents.
Ability to translate business problems into structured data or AI use cases through strong analytical thinking.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse business stakeholders.
Self-starter with curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.
2–4 years of professional experience in finance, AI, data analytics, or digital technology roles.
Proven ability to apply AI or data techniques to solve business challenges (e.g., workflow automation, predictive analysis, process optimization).
Experience building agentic AI systems capable of autonomously executing business workflows.
Experience collaborating with business or functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
