AI Engineer – Pharmaceutical Industry

Sii Poland is seeking a forward-thinking and experienced AI Engineer to join our team. This strategic role focuses on governing the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-powered developer tools and Model Context Protocol servers within our organization. The successful candidate will engineer essential guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and ensure they are secure, compliant, accurate, and aligned with our enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and document AI agents in an enterprise context, enabling developers to innovate while meeting compliance and regulatory standards.
• Spearhead the design and conceptualization of an automated process to evaluate and certify MCP servers.
• Establish clear standards for the quality, structure, and maintenance of the knowledge corpora (documentation, code examples, data files) that power the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) capabilities of each MCP server.
• Secure, test, and validate the primary integration registry component. Define the security requirements and acceptance criteria for an MCP server to be included in the official enterprise registry.
• Work closely with development teams, platform owners, and security stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the governance framework is practical, enabling, and effectively risk-mitigating.
• Continuously refine the evaluation criteria and governance model based on learnings, new threats, and evolving technology, ensuring our governance keeps pace with the speed of AI innovation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience, with a minimum of 1 year in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), including a thorough understanding of what constitutes a high-quality knowledge corpus and how to evaluate RAG system performance.
• Demonstrated experience implementing AI agents, particularly in the context of MCP prompts, resources, tools, and utilities.
• Excellent ability to design service‑integration processes and their automation within an agentic environment.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate high‑level business and technical requirements into a concrete governance framework.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in Polish and English languages.
• Residing in Poland required.
