AI Coding Assistant Integration and Governance Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as an AI Coding Assistant Integration and Governance Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and implementing AI-based coding assistants within our organisation’s technical ecosystem while ensuring adherence to governance and process requirements.

Our teams work in a very agile fashion, doing small things and then iterating over them in product focussed pattern, keeping in mind DevSecOps principles.

• Governance and Process Adherence: Collaborate with stakeholders, such as cyber, legal, hosting committees (external, AI etc.), model risk and governance forums to ensure compliance with bank policies and processes. Obtain necessary approvals for implementation.
• Technical Evaluation: Contribute to the technical assessment of various AI-based coding assistants, analyzing their compatibility, performance, and integration capabilities within our organisation’s environment.
• Vendor Engagement: Engage with vendors, procurement and legal team to negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and ensure seamless collaboration throughout the integration process. Keeping in mind the higher level of risks involved with Generative AI, especially IP infringement and IP protection.
• AI Expertise: Leverage your expertise in AI to contribute to the evaluation process and ensure optimal technical decisions.
• Communication and Promotion: Design and execute communication strategies to disseminate information about AI coding assistant integration and enablement. Keep stakeholders informed about progress, upcoming initiatives, and benefits with the main focus on the engineering community.
• Pilot Rollout Management: Aid in developing and executing a comprehensive plan for piloting the AI coding assistant integration, including feedback collection mechanisms and data-driven business use cases.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather feedback, address concerns, and refine the integration process based on real-world insights.
• Technical Setup: Implement and manage the technical setup of AI coding assistants, including plugin integration, authentication protocols, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing the technical integration and governance processes, implementing improvements based on feedback and best practices.
