Duties And Responsibilities
This is a flying position. The IP serves as a TAFT instructor pilot for unit training and AH-64D/E tactical employment.
The IP will conduct readiness level progression for PAF aviators. This pilot must have the skills required to conduct training on Aviation Mission Planning System, Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) procedures, and AH-64D/E tactical employment curriculum, including gunnery operations. Additionally, the IP will conduct oral evaluations of all PAF pilots in accordance with the PAF’s training and proficiency requirements.
Minimum Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a minimum of 2000 total rotary wing flight hours and at least 500 hours as an AH-64D/E Instructor Pilot.
- Must be qualified in the AH-64D/E v6 and provide qualification certificates.
- Experience as an IP at the company level.
- Experience as an Aviation Tactical Operations (TACOPS) Officer is highly desired.
- Experience with developing POI, gunnery operations, and employment of the AH-64E AIM-92 ATAS is highly desired.
Previous Security Assistance Team experience is also preferred.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Required Skills- Knowledge of Army Aviation training concepts, administration, and logistics.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English.
- Ability to work effectively with staff and team members.
- Professional communication skills with customers on behalf of the company.
